I sewed the rose garden blocks from beautiful pink fabrics. I only used 100% cotton fabrics to sew the quilt. The back is also cotton fabric and there is cotton batting in between. The rose garden blocks are quilted with freehand stitching and the edge is in parallel straight strips.

For me, both going green and patchwork are about recycling. There are so many things that can be repaired and reused instead of buying new. When something is so broken that it can't be fixed, you have to think about whether it's possible to make something new out of it.
I chose cotton fabrics with the most beautiful patterns and arranged the strips cut from them in a harmonious order. This is the most exciting part of the patchwork technique! I sewed cushions in the patchwork technique, which are filled with organically grown buckwheat husks. This way the cushion is pleasantly crunchy!

In a small village by the sea there is a moss-green house. For years there were two extremely comfortable deck chairs on the terrace of this house. The sun and rain took their toll, and the Landlord promised to throw away the faded chairs. The Landlady protected the chairs, so that if new patchwork covers were sewn on them, the chairs would bring joy for a long time to come.

A lovely old farmhouse was renovated, during which the old plank floor was restored and a log wall was partially cleaned out. A beautiful blue patterned wallpaper was hung on the wall, the color range of which determined the tone of the chair cover. The old rocking chair became an eye-catching and dignified member of the renovated living room with the help of a beautiful cover.
