Toots' bed

Joosep Toots is a character from Estonian literary classics who, as a schoolboy, mixed up vegetable seeds and sowed them in a bed like this. If anything is very messy, it's like Toots' bed! Like the fabrics, techniques and thoughts of the participants in the 30th anniversary exhibition of the Estonian Quilting Society. My fabrics were mainly linen, the technique was freehand quilting, my thoughts were inclined towards finished peas-carrots-onions and blossoming flowers. I believe that Joosep Toots himself would probably be proud of such a bed 😀
