I am a craftswoman and educator in Estonia. I have graduated from Tallinn University of Technology faculty of economics and Olustvere school of service and economics in handicraft speciality. I also have a master’s degree in Viljandi Cultural Academy of the University of Tartu in creative applications of cultural heritage. In my master’s thesis I researched about cotton jackets in the tradition of folk clothes in Western Estonia and the islands at the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.
I enjoy teaching different craft techniques aswell as heritage related topics. I teach sewing, crocheting, sashiko and patchwork to textile craft students. I conduct workshops and craft courses. I am a member of the Estonian Patchwork Society and the author of the book Cotton Jackets from the Estonian Islands.
Handicrafts are the best hobby in the world and I want to be a guide on this path!
